How to find us
Conwy itself is in an excellent location for exploring this beautiful part of North Wales. It is a hidden gem, nestling just off the A55 dual carriageway. In just over an hours drive you can reach the major airports of Manchester and Liverpool (Anglesey also has a small terminal only 30mins away). Conwy is a great destination if you are a non-driver or if you fancy being more eco-friendly by using public transport. The train station and bus stop are just a 1 minute walk away from Curlew Cottage. The train station is on an intercity line (Holyhead to Euston, London). The National Express Coach Company also serves Conwy.
Take a look at www.walesflexipass.co.uk. This is a great scheme. One ticket offers you the freedom to enjoy unlimited access to all of Wales' mainline train services and almost every bus service. Ticket holders can enjoy extra benefits too, such as 'two for one entry' or discounted admission to many tourist attractions within this part of Snowdonia. The rates are very reasonable, under 5's travel free and 5 - 15 year olds travel for half price! A great way to travel for families! We really recommend it!
The major seaport of Holyhead is an hour's drive away. Perhaps you could even add an Irish adventure to Dublin to your stay!
